This year has seen record temperatures in the world itself. July 2023 was officially the hottest month on record. Wildfires have raged across Europe, Canada and the U.S..

According to NASA, the effects of climate change could include more wildfires, drought, stronger hurricanes and long heatwaves – meaning that we are all affected by climate change whether we acknowledge it or not.
Scientists predicted that these changes would happen, but not at the rate we’re seeing it now. This means that if action is not taken, humanity as we know it will cease to exist. According to the World Heath Organization, climate change will cause an additional 250,000 deaths between 2030-2050. Predictably, underdeveloped parts of the world will be the most affected.
This means that efforts to halt or reverse the negative impact of climate change need to be put in place now.
